Portraiture Work

Portraiture Development

These are a few of the portrait shots I took from the portraiture photo shoot I did in class. In developing this shot in particular I realised that It had a lot of marks on it that couldn't be corrected by simply cleaning the film with rinse aid and water. So in order to hide the marks without the need of digitally masking them, I manipulated the chemicals used to develop the photos by painting it on with a paint brush or my hand. By doing this the marks that were a hinderance when fully developing the photos looked as it was deliberate which meant I didn't need to use photoshop.

Aperture: f.8
